Dunnes Stores – Clyde

Following the country-wide exit of Dunnes Stores, we were left with a 45,000 sq ft vacant department store in the Clyde Shopping Centre. Whilst there was no landlord liability and the unit was let to Dunnes Stores Properties until November 2103, a new tenant was needed for the key anchor unit.
The team agreed a complex surrender and reletting deal. This resulted in a new 19 year lease to Dunelm and the opening of a new flagship store at the centre.
