Eoin Conway, Managing Director

As Managing Director at Estama UK, Eoin is responsible for all administrative and operational functions of the business, overseeing all departments to ensure a combined approach to achieve successful returns on the assets and properties

With over 15 years’ experience as a Chartered Accountant in the property sector, coupled with his engineering and maths education, Eoin’s financial expertise sees him work closely with the Estama teams to manage the risk across the portfolio, including underwriting, stakeholder reporting, regular business plans and general portfolio analysis. Eoin ensures the service provided by Estama is best-in-class for our clients. Eoin chairs the weekly board meetings covering all matters in asset and property management.

Prior to becoming Director of the Estama group companies, Eoin previously worked as a risk analyst with a commercial lender. In this role he was involved in the business management of the UK loan book comprising c. £20bn of commercial investment and development loans, spanning all sectors, including but not limited to, leisure, retail, residential and office.

Eoin developed his expertise working with a private investor on commercial and residential assets located in the UK, France and Ireland. In this role, he was involved with the management and financing of c. £400m of commercial property and development and management of c. £40m residential property.

In his spare time Eoin enjoys/endures all things Irish sport and music. His sons and dog keep him otherwise busy and entertained.

Ross Campbell, Head of Asset Management & UK Investment and Transactions

Ross 20+ years’ experience in the retail & leisure property sector and is responsible for the asset management of various large retail and leisure assets, he oversees the asset management team and is Head of UK Investment and Transactions.

He has extensive experience in retail & leisure leasing, investment, and excellent retailer & leisure contacts.

Ross currently is the asset manager for Clyde Shopping Centre, the 750,000 sq. ft scheme is a sub-regional centre for West Glasgow and has seen an increase in tenants during the last 3 years bucking the national trend. In Clyde we have been successful in securing funding for the first disabled changing host in the area and are working up a further leisure extension.

He is also Asset Manager on The Meadow shopping centre in Chelmsford, where the client is looking to develop a new leisure and retail scheme.

Leasing highlights include working on the repositioning of The Street at Westfield Stratford after the Olympics. Advising on over a million sq. ft of retail warehousing, Fort Birmingham, Monk Cross York, Lakeside Retail Park and advising Uniqlo on their entrance to the UK.

So far during his career he has advised on over £2.7b of shopping centre purchases or disposals including the disposal of Grand Central Shopping Centre in Birmingham, achieving a record 3.75% yield and £345m c. £100m above the client’s valuation.

Ross is married with two kids and spends his weekends trying to keep fit and tire out his dog.

George Grimes, Head of Property Management

George has 15 years’ experience in the retail property sector and oversees the 20+ strong Estama PM Team, were he holds overall responsibility for the delivery of property management across Estama’s managed portfolio.

George personally handles the management of the 750,000 sqft Clyde Shopping Centre, the 120,000 sqft Regent Walk Shopping Centre and the 100,000 sqft Carlton Lanes Shopping Centre.

George has extensive experience in retail having managed 27 x shopping centres, ranging from regional destinations such as St George’s in Harrow, and The Harvey Centre in Harlow to community shopping centres such as Thamesgate in Gravesend, and Aberafan Centre in Port Talbot.

George has extensive experience in the leisure sector having managed a variety of leisure developments from national destinations such as Scotland’s 350,000 sqft X-Site Centre in Braehead, to Fiveways Leisure in Birmingham which houses Birmingham’s largest nightclub and is the city’s core leisure destination, and The Hive in Stoke the cities core leisure offering. As well as 10 x leisure parks across the UK.

Also an active member of the Revo Property Management Committee providing strategic advice, support, and guidance on the property sector to both government groups, and the wider property sector. George is currently leading the Revo strategy on employment in the property sector to improve diversity and inclusion.

Prior to joining Estama George was a Director at MAPP Property Management launching and leading their London Retail Property Team, before which George held positions at both Savills and LPAM.
