Clyde Shopping Centre
Since taking on the asset management of the scheme, the ESTAMA team has signed some 30 leasing deals including three major anchor tenants and three restaurant / cafes in the last turbulent year. The centre now has more retailer open than before the Covid 19 pandemic.
The decision was also made to bring the property management inhouse in 2020, which included the TUPE of centre staff. The first two months saw a programme of complex head rent negotiations, which achieved significant savings of over £1m. Additionally, over 20% savings in the service charge and sinking fund budgets have been achieved at the centre since Estama brought the property management in house.
